The Honors Program Living-Learning Community is housed in Bentley Hall. Here, Honors students benefit from living with other engaged and academically focused students from all different majors and colleges. Bentley Hall offers a wide variety of
collaboration spaces where students may meet to study, converse and create long lasting bonds with their first-year cohort. The Honors Program Learning Community is also diverse in nature, as students have the opportunity to meet others who, while are
not in their major, can participate together in other events and programs.
In addition to the benefit of creating a tight knit, collaborative community, the Honors Program Living-Learning Community also initiates study break events, information sessions, trivia and coffee catchups. Here, students may participate in events that explore a variety of topics and discussions that promote academic, career, and social development to help them prepare for their future at Drexel and beyond.
Students in this community also have the unique opportunity of having an Honors Program advisor located on the first floor of Bentley Hall. Advising appointments are available Monday-Friday, where students can discuss their Honors Program plan of
study in conjunction with their major degree requirements.
For dates and deadlines to apply for the Honors Program Learning Community, please visit the Housing website for more details. After admittance into the Honors Program, you will have the option of applying to the Honors Program Learning Community via your Housing Application.
Am I required to live in the Honors Living Learning Community?
No. Honors Program students are not required to live in the Honors Residence Hall. However, there are many perks and benefits to students who do (e.g. information sessions, workshops, events, etc).
How should I choose between the Honors LLC and another LLC for my major?
Honors Program students who have selected the Honors LLC over their major LLC boasted that they were able to get the “best of both worlds.” They could live with and befriend other Honors students, but also form study groups with other Honors students
who were in the same major and classes.
Why am I not able to access my Housing Application online?
Students are required to first submit their housing deposit before they are able to access their Housing Application and roommate/room selection sites. If you have already submitted your deposit and are still having problems with accessing the
University Housing website and forms, please contact the Housing Office directly at housing@drexel.edu.
