Updated Campus Amenities for Fall 2021

This month, Drexel University is welcoming back to campus all students, faculty, professional staff to campus for the start of the 2021–2022 academic year.
The most recent guidance for reducing risk and staying safe on campus, per a Sept. 7 message sent to the Drexel community, can be found here. The most up-to-date information related to all of the University’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic can be found here.
Here’s what you need to know if you’ll be living on, near or frequenting and working on campus this fall term:

Drexel Parking Services also recently announced fall employee part-time parking permit options on the University City Campus and Queen Lane Campus.
Drexel Recreation Center hours for fall term, as well as monthly calendars for facilities, can be found here.
Rules and regulations related to COVID-19 procedures, among other things like different areas and amenities in the facilities, can be found here.
The Drexel Libraries continues to provide in-person and remote services and resources for students, faculty and staff, while complying with public health guidelines and the University’s health and safety protocols. As a reminder, masks are required in all Libraries locations, regardless of vaccination status.

Access & Services During Fall 2021
Visit On-Campus Learning Environments
The W. W. Hagerty Library, Queen Lane Library, and Hahnemann Library are currently open. Visit the Libraries’ website for a complete list of open hours.
- Reserve a group study room or a seat in one of the two designated silent rooms in the W. W. Hagerty Library. Seat reservations are not required to work in any of the Libraries’ other informal learning environments at this time.
- Print & scan materials using the equipment provided at all Libraries locations.
- Borrow laptops and other equipment and supplies for use within the Libraries. For more information, visit the website or ask at the service desks in the W. W. Hagerty Library or the Queen Lane Library.
- Schedule an appointment to view archival materials in the University Archives Reading Room or request digitization of archival materials by emailing University Archives staff.
Access Physical Materials
- Browse the stacks & borrow print materials at W. W. Hagerty Library.
- Request contactless pickup or home delivery of physical materials (off campus addresses only).
- Request to have print materials digitized and delivered via email.
- Access print & electronic course reserve materials.
- Borrow materials from other librariesvia interlibrary loan.
Get Expert Help from Libraries Staff
- Chat live with librarians 24/7 through our online chat service. Access the live chat box via the Libraries homepage or library guides.
- For general, in-person information assistance, either visit the Service Desks located on the first floor of the W. W. Hagerty Library and at the Queen Lane Library or call for assistance.
- Schedule a virtual consultation with an expert librarian to discuss course-related projects, strategies for finding and evaluating authoritative information, and approaches to utilizing, organizing and presenting scholarship.
