Diversity and Inclusion Committee (DiveIN) 1L Student Fellow

DiveIN seeks 1L students to serve as Fellows on the Committee. Fellows helps promote student ideas and perspective, and spread the word about DiveIN events. Fellows are expected to attend the majority of DiveIN meetings and events and to play an active role in promoting diversity, inclusion and well-being at the law school. Fellows are encouraged to remain on the Committee for the duration of their time in law school, but the initial commitment begins January 2022.

What is the Diversity and Inclusion Committee?

The Kline School of Law aims to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone and is committed to diversity and inclusion among our students, staff, and faculty. We are a community of members with diverse backgrounds and we want each member to feel welcomed, respected, encouraged and supported. An environment of inclusion improves learning and overall quality of life for all of us. The committee is tasked with finding ways to ensure that the school meets this mission.

Students will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Commitment and Interest in the committee’s mission (required)
  • Experience with diversity and inclusion (preferred)
  • Organization & attention to detail
