Join The Student Organization for Legal Issues Concerning Drug Use (SOLID) for lunch with guest speakers Joey Nich and Kimberly Byrd. After serving 14 years in prison, Joey Nich returned to the community determined to turn his lived experiences into a blueprint for reform and is now a leader and advocated in the areas of reentry and recovery. Kimberly Byrd is the former Deputy Warden of the Arizona DOC, the first female Executive Officer in Philadephia Police Department history, and nationally respected leader in sentencing reform.
