PreLaw Magazine named the Kline School of Law among the “best value” law schools in its Back to School 2015 edition.
Among private law schools, the Kline School of Law ranked 11th in the nation for tuition discounting.
Tuition discount rates among private law schools ranged from 2.6 to 56.6 percent, according to the preLaw article, which drew data from law schools’ reports to the American Bar Association from the academic years of 2011-12 to 2013-14. The Kline School of Law discounted tuition by 42.9 percent during that period.
The article notes that law schools have significantly enhanced scholarship funding as student application rates have declined in recent years.
The magazine also notes that the law school is just one of 20 in the U.S. that offer an accelerated JD and among 77 nationwide that offer a concentration in what it calls "the hottest specialty:" health law.
