Ernie Holtzheimer, an associate at Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP, has been elected to three leadership posts within the Philadelphia Bar Association Business Law Section.
Holtzheimer, ’16, was elected secretary and treasurer of the association’s Business Law Section and treasurer of the Young Lawyers Division. He took the reins on Jan. 1, having served on the executive committees for both the division and the section for the past year.
In 2018, Holtzheimer was featured on the American Bar Association’s “On the Rise—Top 40 Young Lawyers” list, reflecting his achievements in leadership and service to the legal profession and the community. He serves on advisory boards for The Spruce Foundation, the Rowan University Venture Fund and the Rowan Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. He also serves a small business mentor for the Southern New Jersey Chapter of SCORE and is a member of Special Olympics Pennsylvania’s Executive Advisory Board.
At Montgomery McCracken, Holtzheimer provides transactional and business advisory services to individuals, mid-sized and emerging companies, investors and multinational corporations.
When he received his JD, cum laude, Holtzheimer won the Firstrust Bank Award in Business and Entrepreneurship and received Outstanding Pro Bono Service Honors for providing more than 201 hours of service.
