Professor Paul Flanagan will be a featured presenter at the Sixth Annual Conference on Governance of Emerging Technologies & Science, Law, Policy and Ethics at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law on May 16.
The conference will explore regulatory, governance, legal, policy, social and ethical facets of emerging technologies, including digital health, personalized medicine, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, surveillance technologies, cybersecurity, robotics and artificial intelligence.
Flanagan will discuss “Transcending Cyber/Privacy/Compliance Silos with a Corporate Compliance Framework,” as part of a panel on privacy and surveillance. He will join K Royal, the director of senior privacy at TrustArc, Professor Panagiotis Loukinas of Queen’s University in Belfast, U.K. and Professor Richard Monette of the University of Wisconsin School of Law, on the panel.
