Fanta Freeman, a rising 3L, was honored at the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia on May 5.

Freeman received a scholarship from the association in recognition of her leadership skills, academic achievements and commitment to community service.

The president of the Black Law Students Association, Freeman is also notes editor of the Drexel Law Review.

The Barristers’ Association, an affiliate of the National Bar Association, addresses the professional development and needs of black attorneys in Philadelphia.
