Professor Paul Flanagan will be a featured speaker at Cybersecurity: Crucial Collaborations, a forum that The Conference Board will convene in New York City on Jan. 18-19.
Flanagan will present “Transcending Silos with a Compliance Framework,” providing a pathway for using a compliance framework to break through silos that often separate professionals in the worlds of cybersecurity, privacy and ethics. Flanagan will outline strategies for coordinating combined efforts in training and defense as well as responding to issues that arise.
The conference aims to provide critical perspectives to a wide range of professionals: chief technology and information officers, general counsel, privacy and strategy officers, crisis managers, board members and related staff.
Flanagan, the former executive director of compliance and privacy services for Drexel University, has been a pioneer in regulatory compliance for more than 20 years. He is heading up compliance programming at the law school, which offers a wide range of related courses through its JD and Master of Legal Studies programs.
