Kalani Linnell, a 3L and the executive editor of online media content for Drexel Law Review, has been selected for the Honorable Albert W. Sheppard Scholarship.
The scholarship will allow Linnell to complete a year-long clerkship with the Commerce Case Management Program in Philadelphia, completing assignments for three judges and the program director.
Linnell will engage in legal research and writing in the arena of commercial litigation.
The scholarship was established in 2013 by the Philadelphia Bar Foundation and the Business Litigation Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Business Law Section. The fund was created in the memory of Sheppard, who facilitated the creation of the Commerce Case Management Program during his tenure on the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas from 1983 to 2011.
