Four members of the Trial Team who competed in the National Civil Trial Competition in Los Angeles Oct. 20-22 received the Ethical Advocacy Award.
2L Alisa DiPietro, 3L Jenna Mathias, 3L Carlye John Armstrong and 2L Michael Wentz received the award at the competition, which was hosted by Loyola Law School and sponsored by Greene Broillet & Wheeler LLP.
Though the team did not advance in the competition, they were chosen by their competitors to receive the award.
“This is remarkable,” said Professor Gwen Roseman Stern, director of the Trial Advocacy program. “The fact that these students were chosen by their peers to receive this award says a great deal about their poise, professionalism and collegiality.”
Stern and attorneys David Clark and Maureen McCartney coached the team.
