Professor Barry Furrow was a featured presenter at the 11th Annual Symposium on Health Law and Policy at Loyola University Chicago School of Law on Nov. 10.
The symposium, presented in conjunction with the Annals of Health Law, explored “Privacy, Big Data and the Demands of Providing Quality Patient Care.”
Furrow discussed “Data Sharing to Improve Care Quality” on a panel that featured Professor Wendy Netter Epstein of the University of Chicago Law School, Professor Renee Knake of the University of Houston Law Center and Professor Jessica Lind Mantel of the University of Houston Law Center.
The director of the Health Law program, Furrow is a pioneer in the field of health law and a recognized expert on issues involving patient safety and quality of care.
