Elizabeth Yoder, a 2L, won the award for Best Direct Examination at the Judge Paul Joseph Kelly Jr. Invitational Trial Competition hosted by Fordham University on Nov. 11-12.

Yoder joined 3L Taylor Pickersgill in representing the Trial Team at the competition, in which 16 other law schools from around the U.S. took part.

The competition, which featured a federal criminal case, was held in the Southern District of New York.

Yoder, a member of the Drexel Law Review, received her award just weeks after members of the Trial Team won the National Board of Trial Advocacy’s Tournament of Champions.
