Students Win Temple Law Regional Appellate Advocacy Competition

Champions of Temple Law's Second Annual Appellate Advocacy Competition 2017 Rachel Greenberg and Yvette Tyson

April 10, 2017

2L Rachel Greenberg and 3L Yvette Tyson won the Second Annual Regional Appellate Advocacy Competition hosted by Temple’s Beasley School of Law on April 7.

The two were named champions, and Tyson took home the award for Best Oral Advocate in the competition, which featured teams from Temple, Villanova and Widener law schools.

Temple’s law faculty created the competition to promote a “friendly rivalry” among law schools in Philadelphia.  Seasoned appellate litigators serve as judges.

Tyson and Greenberg were joined in the competition by 2L Catherine Domineske and 3L Sarah Jammer. All were coached by fellow students who are members of the Moot Court Board.
