Professor Tabatha Abu El-Haj Discusses First Amendment at Ohio State Law Journal Symposium

Professor Tabatha Abu El-Haj took part in a panel on “Speech, Association and Democracy” at the Ohio State Law Journal Symposium on Nov. 18.

Focused on “Expanding the First Amendment,” the symposium will be held at Ohio State’s Moritz College of Law.

Abu El-Haj will join University of Michigan Law Professor Samuel Bagenstos and University of Alabama School of Law Professor Ronald Krotoszynski on the panel, which will be moderated by OSU Law Professor Daniel Tokaji.

A recognized authority on the American political process, Abu El-Haj studies political participation as a means of maintaining accountability on the part of institutions.
