Professor Barry Furrow assessed the impact of the Affordable Care Act on health systems and patients at the 22nd Annual Health Law Institute in Philadelphia on March 15 and 16, convened by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
Furrow, director of the Health Law Program, explored provisions of the ACA that have altered the design of health systems and created regulatory changes designed to empower patients and enhance patient safety.
A nationally recognized authority on health law, Furrow is the lead author of “Health Law – Cases, Materials and Problems,” which is in its 7th edition.
