2Ls Advance to National Rounds of Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition

Students Stephanie Hernandez and Sarah Pulisciano advanced to the National Rounds of the Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition, to be held in March.

Finalists in the Mid-Atlantic Regional competition that was held in Philadelphia on Feb. 4 to 6, the 2Ls came in third place, qualifying for the national rounds, which will be held in Baltimore.

The students were coached by '15 alumnae Stephany Gordon and Alisha Lubin.

The competition, organized by the National Black Law Students Association, features six regional contests that each send the three top teams to the nationals.

Hernandez is a graduate of Temple University. Pulisciano graduated from The College of New Jersey.
