Professor Barry Furrow presented "The Expanding World of Patient Safety:  Regulating to Improve Quality, Reduce Errors, and Narrow Practice Variation," as part of a workshop organized by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Health Law Institute on March 13.

The workshop was designed to teach practitioners about federal and state roles in implementing the Affordable Care Act in Pennsylvania.

Director of the law school’s Health Law Program, Furrow is a nationally recognized authority on health law.
