Nicholas Hubner was elected governor of the 3rd Circuit of the American Bar Association’s Law Student Division.
As governor, Hubner will take the lead in developing networking and pro bono programs and activities for students attending law schools throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. He will also serve on a Board of Governors that makes decisions for the ABA’s Law Student Division nationwide.
A 1L, Hubner was elected by Student Bar Association leaders from law schools within the circuit.
Although first-year students are seldom elected to leadership positions within the ABA, Hubner is hardly the first Drexel Law student to be tapped. 2L Joe Zeidner was chosen in August to represent law students at the ABA House of Delegates. And 3L Irene Lehne was tapped in August to serve as a division liaison to the ABA Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar, which is the accrediting body for law schools around the country.
