The American Bar Association has published the 3rd edition of “ABCs of the UCC: Article 2A Leasing,” which Professor Amy Boss co-authored with Blank Rome partner Stephen T. Whelan.

The book is part of a series the ABA has published concerning the Uniform Commercial Code, which was first published in 1952 to harmonize state laws related to sales and other commercial transactions. Article 2A was added in 1987 to help practitioners and judges interpret lease contracts.

Boss is one of the nation’s leading authorities on commercial law, issues in electronic commerce and codification of international commercial law through treaty.

She is a member of the Council of the American Law Institute and the first professor and second woman to chair the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
