Law School Delegation Investigates Human Rights Violations in Haiti March 16, 2011 Members of the law school’s Drexel Haiti Justice Project are visiting Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to investigate human rights violations in and around the transitional housing settlement located in Cite Soleil. The delegation, which includes seven students and Associate Dean for Experiential Learning Susan L. Brooks, will be interviewing residents and investigating the work of international organizations, including a legal advocacy group. The group’s findings will culminate in the creation of a human rights report. This trip, the first for the law school, was organized by students in collaboration with the LAMP for Haiti Foundation.
