Professor Rob Field will discuss issues surrounding new drug discovery and development as part of a pharmaceutical law panel at Access to Essential Medicines, Biotechnology Patents, and Global Cooperation, a symposium held at Temple University Beasley School of Law on April 1, 2011.

Professor Field is a nationally recognized expert on health policy and public health law whose research focuses on ethical issues in managed care, public policy and legal facets of health care reform and genetic screening. He holds a joint appointment as professor of health management and policy at the Drexel School of Public Health.
