5th Biannual Meeting for the Salud Urbana en América Latina Project & 7th Meeting of the Urban Health Network for Latin America and the Caribbean

The fifth biannual meeting of the Salud Urbana en América Latina (SALURBAL) project and seventh meeting of the Urban Health Network for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC-Urban Health) brings together collaborators from country hubs and project partners. The biannual meetings are an opportunity for the SALURBAL team to share updates and collaboratively plan next steps over a three-day event that includes works-in-progress presentations, plenary sessions, and working meetings. The third day is dedicated to policy engagement, learning about country-specific challenges and solutions from local policymakers, governments, and other advocates.
Levels and Determinants of Urban Mortality: A Focus on Cities of Latin America

The Drexel Urban Health Collaborative’s SALURBAL Project is convening this pre-symposium event to discuss challenges and opportunities in characterizing and studying the determinants of urban mortality with a special focus on the Latin American context. The first panel will feature presentations and moderated discussion from experts in the field and the second panel will present preliminary results from the SALURBAL Project.
