Salud y Ciudad - Resources from the Interamerican Development Bank

A person’s zip code influences their life expectancy more than their genetic code. Watch Salud y Ciudad, a documentary produced by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), to learn more about the critical role of urban environments in determining our life expectancy and quality of life.

The film features Ana Diez Roux and Kevin Martinez-Folgar, epidemiologists at Drexel University's Dornsife School of Public Health, and highlights evidence from SALURBAL's work to document disparities in mortality and life expectancy across and within Latin American cities.
