Peer Mentees

If you're a first-year, second-year, or transfer student that is first-generation college or identifies as an historically underrepresented student of color, then you're eligible to become a Mentee in the Ascent Peer Mentor program with the Center for Inclusive Education (CIES).

Qualifications

To become a Mentee, one must be:

  • An undergraduate student in your first or second year at Drexel.
  • Able to commit five (5) hours per term.

Requirements

  • Attend in-person, on campus events.
    • Attend Ascent Introductory Meeting during Week three to meet your Mentor(s) in person.
    • Participate in face-to-face meetings with Mentor(s) twice per term.
    • Attend celebratory End-of-Term Dinner during week nine.
  • Online Surveys
    • Provide feedback to CIES professional staff and Ascent Leadership Team regarding your experience with Ascent through a 10-minute survey at the end of the quarter.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with Ascent Leadership Team.
