Saturday Summit
Saturday, April 29, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Saturday Summit is a quarterly event designed to empower Drexel's first-generation students and
students of color to reach their goals. Whether you're a first-year, a senior, or somewhere in between,
you can expect to meet peers, learn new skills, hear new perspectives, and get connected to resources
across campus. At the Summits, there will be opportunities to hear from speakers and participate in
workshops on a range of topics including wellness, academics, professional development, leadership,
and DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging).
The spring quarter Saturday Summit will be held on Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include workshops/talks such as:
- Learning new academic and wellness tools
- Building healthy financial habits in college
- Community Engagement

Workshop Presentation Proposals
Drexel faculty, professional staff, and upperclass students who are interested in facilitating a workshop at a future Saturday Summit are invited to submit presentation proposals. Strong proposals will align with the Center's mission, guiding principles, and pillars in addition to presenting valuable information to students in an interactive format.
After reviewing submissions, CIES staff will notify you if your presentation has been chosen for a Summit. For more information on proposal guiding principles and to submit a proposal, select the button below.
