Administrative Website Design Standards

All administrative departments and units at Drexel are required to use the administrative website design.

In addition to the general University Design & Branding Standards for digital media and Global Website Design Standards, administrative sites must follow the additional requirements provided below.

Header Requirements

The standard site title header is used for administrative sites. It contains the Drexel University logo (which links to drexel.edu) and the full name of the department, office, or unit (that links to the site's home page) in a blue bar that spans the width of the content area.

Background Requirements

Administrative sites must use the standard blue page background image.

Home Page Design

Home pages are an opportunity for sites to market and promote important, opportune, or periodic content using the various components available through the Sitecore content management system. Administrative sites have default padding and margin widths associated with the usable space for home page content and the subpanels that fit within that space. These elements vary according to the browser width and cannot be altered.
