Military Transition Program

Drexel's Military Transition Program, offered through the Goodwin College of Professional Studies, is a transitional program for eligible veterans that provides additional support and resources to students returning to the classroom. Veterans are considered for this program when they are not eligible for their first-choice major.

Students offered admission into the Military Transition Program enroll in our Interdisciplinary Professional Studies major for approximately 24 college credits. During this time, students work with their academic advisors to prepare for their intended major. While in the program, students will take courses specific to their first-choice major — gaining college credits that will ultimately help them receive their desired degrees. If participants meet the requirements for their intended program after two academic terms or 24 college credits, then they will transfer into their first-choice major.

You may not directly apply for the Military Transition Program. Veterans should select their intended major on the transfer undergraduate admission application, and then indicate on the application that they would be interested in being considered for other programs. Students interested in this option should also submit their Joint Services Transcript. The Admissions Office will consider applicants for this program during application review.

This program is also eligible for our Yellow Ribbon Program.
