Financial Aid Policies

  • Satisfactory Academic Progress – All Drexel students must maintain certain academic standards according to the Department of Education to maintain eligibility for federal financial assistance.
  • Return of Financial Aid Policy – The process for funding potentially being returned to students who withdraw from all classes, drop out, are dismissed, or take a leave of absence prior to completing more than 60 percent of a quarter or semester.
  • Senior Exception for Financial Aid Eligibility – Financial aid eligibility requires full-time undergraduates to maintain the minimum full-time enrollment per quarter, but there is an exception to this policy for students in their final two terms of courses.
  • Consortium Agreements – Degree-seeking students at Drexel have the opportunity to attend another institution for a term or a semester and still receive certain financial aid awards.
  • Financial Aid Administrative and Tax Policy – The tax policy for scholarships, prizes, cost of attendance, remission, stipends, and awards.
