The William B. Dietrich Online Gallery of the Drexel Founding Collection

Explore the historical and artistic significance of the Drexel Founding Collection by browsing highlights of the Collection via The William B. Dietrich Online Gallery.

Carefully selected by the Collection’s curators, the Online Gallery highlights a selection of approximately 2300 pieces from the Collection’s more than 8,000+ objects, including paintings, sculpture, drawings, clocks, watches and ceramics from around the world.

The works of art presented in the Online Gallery are made possible thanks to a generous grant provided by the William B. Dietrich Foundation. The William B. Dietrich Foundation makes grants to support the arts throughout the greater Philadelphia area, with a primary focus on the authentic restoration, preservation and refurbishment of artifacts, buildings and other spaces of historic, architectural or aesthetic significance. The William B. Dietrich Foundation has been instrumental in making The Drexel Collection accessible to a broadened audience through the Online Gallery.
