A June 15 New York Times article featuring Alex Ortega, PhD, a professor and director of the Center for Population Health and Community Impact in the Dornsife School of Public Health, about a study finding that one in five people worldwide have at least one of the underlying health conditions that can worsen cases of the coronavirus, was picked up June 16 by Miami Herald, The Virginian-Pilot, and South Florida Sun Sentinel, among other outlets.
