Healing Hurt People (HHP) was mentioned in a story on the Green Philly website. HHP is the flagship program of the Center for Nonviolence and Social Justice at the Dornsife School of Public Health. 

The author interviews Jose Ferran Jr., who was approached by a social worker from HHP after being treated for an injury. Ferran said the social worker provided counseling services, helping him talk through his pain and imagine a better life for himself.
