Around the country, incomes are rising. In Philly, they’re falling.

Mariana Chilton, PhD, professor in the Dornsife School of Public Health and director of the Center for Hunger-Free Communities, was quoted in a Sept. 13 Philadelphia Inquirer story about how Philadelphia’s poverty rate is staying stagnant and incomes are falling, despite the opposite trend in other U.S. cities.
