Secondhand Smoke Exposure Drops After Smoke-Free Policy Goes Into Effect

A HealthDay story profiling a study by Ann Klassen, PhD, professor of Community Health and Prevention, was picked up by U.S. News & World Report on Feb. 8. The study looked at nicotine levels detected in Philadelphia public housing to determine how much exposure to secondhand smoke has been cut since the facilities went smoke-free. The story was also featured on Philly.com, Health.com, Montana Standard and the La Crosse (Wisconsin) Tribune.
