Hunger in Philadelphia increases while declining nationwide

Mariana Chilton, PhD, a professor in the Dornsife School of Public Health and director of the Center for Hunger-Free Communities, was quoted in a Dec. 1 Philadelphia Inquirer story about how the number of peoplestruggling with hunger in Philadelphia has risen over the last six years while that number has declined in the rest of the country.
