I, along with several members of our Dornsife School of Public Health and Drexel community, will be traveling to Washington, D.C. this weekend for the 2025 American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting and Expo. I look forward to connecting with fellow public health practitioners and attending sessions that reflect this year’s theme, “making the public's health a national policy."

For an in-depth look at what Drexel folks are participating in at the conference, please check out our DSPH APHA Guide.

Sunday of the conference is our annual Alumni & Friends Reception. This event will be held from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Right Proper Brewing Company and is a chance to network and connect. I am excited to see many familiar (and new!) faces and hear what our incredible alumni community is up to. Registration is complimentary and includes heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks. There will be brief remarks and photo opportunities.

If you are headed to the meeting's exhibitor hall, be sure to stop by the Dornsife booth (# 343) designed for visitors to meet up, recharge, and learn about the school's latest work and successes.

Safe travels to all traveling to D.C.!
