ClockWork
The ClockWork Portal allows students to complete the following tasks electronically:

- Register to take exams with the Disability Resources’ Testing Center.
- Submit a request to renew their Accommodation Verification Letter (AVL) and see the status of their request.

The Interactive Process
Once a student has submitted their Student Request Form for Accommodations and supporting medical documentation, an Accommodations Coordinator will offer them an appointment via Drexel email. During the appointment, their request will be discussed in detail, and the student will work with the Accommodations Coordinator to available accommodations or adjustments and additional resources that is available.
Common topics that may be discussed during the appointment are:
- Additional resources available around campus
- Guidance on signing up for exams and quizzes with the Testing Center
- Assistive technology
- Instructions for requesting a note-taking assistance and audio recording
- Dining and housing accommodations
- Temporary transportation adjustments
The Accommodations Verification Letter
At the beginning of every term/semester, students who wish to utilize their approved accommodations for the upcoming term/semester must submit an Accommodation Verification Letter (AVL) Renewal Form. AVLs can only be submitted via the ClockWork Portal.
For instructions on how to submit a request, please review the PDF instructions or you can access the form in the Forms and Documentation Requirements page.
If a student does not renew their accommodations, they will not be able to utilize their approved accommodations.
Once an AVL Renewal Request is submitted, students will be able to see the status of their request. Please allow our office 3-5 business days to process a request.
Medical Students
Medical students are not required to submit an AVL Renewal Form every semester because it is valid for an entire academic year, unless stated otherwise by an Accommodations Coordinator. Please email questions pertaining to the AVL Renewal Process to disability@drexel.edu. Please allow 1-2 business days to receive a response.
