Miriam Kotzin Publishes Two New Books

May 22, 2017

Professor of English Miriam Kotzin, PhD, recently published a collection of fiction, Country Music, (Spuyten Duyvil Press), twenty-six stories “ranging wide and deep in their deft and piercing exploration of emotion, relationships and characters in the crucibles of love, rivalry and strained friendships (David Ackley).”

Miriam Kotzin’s other recent publication is Debris Field (WordTech), a “rangy exhibit of what she can do [showcasing] her mastery of emotions and poetic forms (John Timpane, Philly.com).” Poems range from open verse to tight, traditional sonnets to poems about nature and memory. Her “clear-eyed view of the world is both dark and funny. She is also deeply invested in the bitter beauties of the natural world from which she draws a number of her startling images. In Debris Field, she expands her singular journey that has made her one of the best poets of her generation (Richard Burgin)."

Both publications can be purchased online.
