Research Interests:
Volcano remote sensing and monitoring, volcanic ash, natural hazards mitigation
Bio:
I use a wide range of tools to study active volcanic systems on our Earth in an effort to better understand the hazards these systems pose on nearby communities. I am particularly interested in volcanic ash and using Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (sUAVs) to take measurements during volcanic eruptions. My current field area focuses on Mt. Sinabung, Indonesia where I pilot sUAVs through ash clouds to collect data during eruptions.
