Bio:
I'm largely interested in coastal wetland ecology, with special interests in the monitoring and restoration of these systems. As the climate changes and sea levels rise, these dynamic systems become increasingly important to coastal communities. By performing research on coastal wetland function, salt succession and the impacts of tidal flux on groundwater, I hope to provide coastal practitioners and land managers with relevant information on the best ways to achieve coastal conservation goals. I primarily work and perform research for the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, the local National Estuary Program, so my studies at Drexel are a marriage of academia and nonprofit endeavors.
