Research Interests:
Biogeochemistry, coastal estuarine ecology, water quality, land use change, remote sensing
Bio:
I am interested in studying change and how humans impact natural systems. I grew up in Maine and love outdoor activities and fieldwork. During my undergrad, I studied geobiology at Brown University. Before starting graduate school I worked at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole studying sandplain grasslands on the coastal islands of Cape Cod. In graduate school, I am currently investigating the causes of dissolving mud snail shells in an estuary in California.
