  • Forty-Under-Forty Submission Deadline is August 27

    CNHP often has alumni recognized in the Drexel 40 Under 40 program. It showcases some of our most promising, entrepreneurial, creative and inspiring alumni. To be eligible, alumni must be 39 years or younger as of March 25, 2022, and they must have received a degree from Drexel University. In addition, editors will be looking for evidence of professional success, community involvement and all-around amazingness. Alumni may self-nominate.

    If you know of alumni who you would like to nominate, please use the submission form. The deadline to apply for the 2022 40 under 40 is Aug. 27, 2021.

  • Anthony Angelow, PhD, CRNP, ACNPC, AGACNP-BC, ACNP-BC, CEN, FAEN

    Book Publication

    Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Review Book, authored by Anthony M. Angelow, PhD, chair, Advanced Practice Nursing, co-chair, Division of Graduate Nursing and assistant clinical professor, will be published by FA Davis December 1, 2021.

    The book has content review for each area of the exam, which includes over 240 and 1K on the online question bank that students can use to practice and build knowledge. Additionally, four CNHP  faculty are contributors to the book.

    • Kimberly Garcia, DNP, assistant clinical professor; director of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program, Graduate Nursing, wrote the psych-mental health chapter.
    • Sally Miller, PhD, clinical professor, Graduate Nursing, co-wrote the endocrine chapter with me and she also was an item writer for online questions.
    • Barbara Osborne, DNP, associate chair, Department of Advanced Practice Nursing and assistant clinical professor, co-wrote and provided expertise on GU content and the health promotion chapter.
    • Kimberly Twaddell, MSN, adjunct faculty, was an item writer for online questions.
