The National Science and Technology Medals Foundation invites you to join us for "Science Unscripted with Robert Langer." This free live-stream event will feature Dr. Langer in conversation about his experiences as a highly decorated chemical engineer, scientist, entrepreneur, and inventor.
Dr. Margaret A. Wheatley, John M. Reid Professor in the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science and Health Systems, Drexel University, moderates this conversation. Dr. Wheatley completed a post-doctoral fellowship investigating controlled drug delivery with Dr. Langer at MIT and is an alum of Oxford University and the University of Toronto.

Biosketch:
Robert S. Langer, ScD, is one of 10 Institute Professors at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT); being an Institute Professor is the highest honor awarded to a faculty member. Dr. Langer has written over 1,500 articles and 1,400 issued and pending patents worldwide, making him the most cited engineer in history. His over 220 awards include both the United States National Medal of Science, the United States National Medal of Technology and Innovation, and the Charles Stark Draper Prize (often called the Engineering Nobel Prize), to name a few. He holds 34 honorary doctorates and has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine, the National Academy of Engineering, the National Academy of Sciences, and the National Academy of Inventors.
