Start Talking Science is looking for STEM researchers to present non-technical posters to the general public on Friday, November 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Science History Institute (315 Chestnut Street) in Philadelphia. This opportunity allows students to communicate their research to a diverse audience, network with other STEM professionals in academia and industry, stimulate fresh and novel approaches to research, and learn about other exciting research projects in the Philadelphia area.

Presenters are invited to submit a summary of their research by July 29, 2024. Research in any STEM field and at any level is encouraged!

If selected, a review process including drafts, feedback, revisions, and workshops will take place.

Start Talking Science aims to increase the public awareness of -- and interest in -- cutting-edge Philadelphia area research in order to make STEM more accessible by fostering insightful conversations and connections while strengthening the communication skills of researchers.
