Black in Neuro Week 2021
July 26 - August 1
July 20, 2021
Black In Neuro Week 2021 is happening Monday July 26th through Sunday August 1st! Black In Neuro Week includes several live events ranging from discussions about Neuroracism and how to make research practices more equitable, to a mentorship training workshop where faculty can learn how to better support BIPOC trainees. There's something for everyone! All of the events are virtual, FREE, and open to the public. We strongly encourage allies of the Black In Neuro community to attend!
This is a wonderful opportunity to support Black scholars in neuroscience-related fields from all around the world. There will be particular emphasis during #BlackInNeuroResearch Day where Black scholars will be sharing their research. Use #CiteBlackInNeuro to find speakers to make your seminar series and events more diverse. There will also be a #RecruitBlackInNeuro conversation on social media - Connect with incredible Black scholars on the job market or applying to graduate school!
Download the flyer below with a list of events. Registration can be found on the Black In Neuro website along with more details about each event.
