Graduate Student Excellence Awards

The Graduate College is pleased to announce the following Graduate Student Excellence Awards and will be accepting nominations now through April 15, 2016. Each of these awards will recognize Drexel's high performing graduate students and their commitment to the university's mission, across the following categories: Arts and Humanities; Social Sciences; Mathematics Sciences and Engineering; and Physical and Life Sciences.
Students will be celebrated and recognized at the Graduate Student Day celebration on May 16, 2016. Graduate Student Day is co-sponsored by the Graduate Student Association (GSA) and will also include graduate student organization excellence and graduate student appreciation awards. All graduate students and supporters are welcome to attend this celebration of graduate education at Drexel.
These awards are presented to doctoral students in recognition of excellence in dissertation research and to encourage the highest levels of scholarship, research and writing. Award winners receive certificates of recognition and monetary awards, and are recognized at the doctoral Commencement ceremony and at Graduate Student Day.
Academic department heads may nominate doctoral students via the Drexel Funding Portal.
These awards are presented to Drexel graduate students who are deemed to exhibit great promise for regional, national or societal impact, and accordingly, for enhancing Drexel's reputation, now and in the future. Award winners receive certificates of recognition and monetary awards, and are recognized at the their Commencement ceremonies and at Graduate Student Day.

These awards are given to graduate students who have exhibited outstanding research, scholarship, and creativity in the past year. Highly effective researchers are awarded with certificates of recognition and monetary awards, and are recognized at Graduate Student Day.

These awards are given to Drexel teaching assistants who have gone above and beyond in their teaching service. Highly effective teaching assistants are awarded with certificates of recognition and monetary awards, and are recognized at Graduate Student Day.
Students, faculty and professional staff may nominate Teaching Assistants via the online survey.
