Friday, April 13, 2018

12:00 PM-1:30 PM

Please join the Graduate College for their next professional development workshop on topics in teaching and learning!

This month's workshop will cover "Creating User-Friendly Student-Centered Syllabi" by Dr. Mary Jo Grdina, Clinical Professor and Chair, Teaching Learning & Curriculum Programs, School of Education.

A well-designed syllabus is an essential took for effectively managing a course. It gives students a clear understanding of your expectations and a road map for how the course will be conducted. A syllabus can prevent a lot of misunderstandings as the term progresses.
