Heard Around Campus — July

July 26, 2022

A view of people walking around taken from the staircase in the Great Court of Drexel University's Main Building.

We’re coming up on the end of the term and the end of the summer! Keep an eye out for community events and cultural offerings in August and through the fall, including the National Night Out event on Aug. 2 to promote police and community partnerships.

Join Public Safety for National Night Out on Aug. 2

Research has shown that partnerships between communities and local police forces have a positive effect not only on crime rates but also on the communities’ trust in law enforcement. Celebrated on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out is an annual observance aimed to make communities safer and more caring through programs that promote police and community partnerships. Join Public Safety for community-building activities on Aug. 2 from 5–7 p.m. at the southeast corner of 33rd and Arch streets, next to the Buckley Field entrance.
