  • Theaster Gates’ Monument in Waiting Unveiled at Drexel’s Campus

    Monument in Waiting, a sculpture by Theaster Gates, which was created during the turbulent summer of 2020 and first exhibited at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, New York—was installed on Drexel University’s campus. The sculpture, courtesy of the artist and GRAY gallery, is presented by Philadelphia Contemporary, Forman Arts Initiative and Drexel University.
