In an ongoing effort to create a more secure, robust, and reliable network, Drexel IT will be converting all data ports in the URBN Center and URBN Center Annex from public IP addresses to private IP addresses. This network maintenance has been scheduled for Friday, July 24,2020 from 7:00 AM–8:00 AM.

Remote connections to office and classroom computers will be unavailable during this downtime. The planned outage will not affect devices with assigned IP addresses, such as department multi-function copiers, or network connection to the Westphal server room. Westphal license servers and file storage will be available during the downtime.

Following the network maintenance, all office and classroom computers will have new IP addresses. If you’re connecting to your work computer from home, you will need your new IP address to continue accessing your computer remotely. Please contact us at westphalit@drexel.edu if you’re using your office computer remotely, and we will provide you with your new IP address once the maintenance is complete.
